The required license type for the Prime Bidder in this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is a D-28 - Doors, Gates and Activating Devices license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB).

The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to remove and replace one (1) full roll-up door at the Okinawa FMS 22, and remove and replace four (4) roll-up door motors and components at the Meadowview OMS. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 128129, Roll-up Door Replacement and Repairs and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 5/12/2026, at 10:00 AM that will begin at Sacramento Okinawa FMS-22, 8410 Okinawa Street, Sacramento, CA 95828. CW2 Brian Whaler will provide further instructions after this site visit is completed to rally everyone to the next site at the Meadowview OMS. These are two separate installations. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting CW2 Whaler at Brian.Whaler@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type D-28 - Doors, Gates and Activating Devices license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 5/15/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 128129.
