The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is seeking a Contractor to provide water sample analysis services. CDFW is mandated by the order of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) to collect and analyze hatchery water samples on a monthly basis. These samples are taken and tested from the fishpond areas to keep the health of the fish optimal and to monitor the discharge water quality. When the water samples are analyzed, the results are then documented in accordance with the Hatchery¿s Waste Discharge Permit. This documentation is then compiled and used for mandated quarterly reports to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB).
