The "job site" or "work site" is defined as the area of actual construction and the areas immediately adjacent thereto, as shown on the plans or as specified. The contractor is required to limit construction operations to the work site unless otherwise shown on the plans or specifications.
License types

Description
All non-military personnel seeking access to the installation must be vetted prior to entry. Only military members and Department of Defense vetted individuals (valid CAC holders) will be authorized unescorted access. All other visitors must undergo a background check process before being granted installation access. Please contact Forest.Decker@cmd.ca.gov to provide first name, last name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, SSN, DL # if you plan to attend the job walk for a background check The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to Provide 24 hour Monitoring and Annual Testing and Inspections of the fire alarm systems at San Diego Air National Guard. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Analyst listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 126652, Annual Fire System Service and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 6/17/2026, at 10:00 AM at San Diego Air National Guard, 7288 Convoy Terrace, San Diego, CA 92111. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Nicole Jackson at Nicole.Jackson@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-16 - Fire Protection Contractor license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Nicole Jackson at Nicole.Jackson@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 6/24/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 126652. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 7/8/2026 at 2:15 PM.
