The LifeMark automated re-striping system is designed to manage the re-striping of longitudinal traffic markings without requiring a rear operator. Over time, traffic lines deteriorate due to weather conditions, vehicle wear, and natural fading. Clearly marked lanes are essential for maintaining traffic organization, reducing the risk of sideswipe collisions, improper merging, and enhancing overall road safety. This system addresses the challenge of dwindling experienced striping operators by empowering new personnel to quickly acquire skills and confidence, thereby alleviating dependency on a diminishing workforce. Using this system will also enhance safety of the maintenance workers as they do not have to walk on the roadway to draw the layout lines for striping.
